A family craft

Mike learned beekeeping beside his grandfather.

What began in 2010 with Thomas Allen grew into a lifelong respect for bees, good ingredients, and the people who bring local markets to life.

By 2011, the first family honey brand—Z’s Bees—was born. Mike later owned and operated the Killeen Farmers Market, sharing fresh honey and bee products directly with the community. Today, Mike’s Bees carries that same hands-on spirit forward.

“Keep it natural. Make it well. Treat every customer like a neighbor.”

Good questions

From hive
to home.

Quick answers about raw honey, oatmeal soap, Pair & Save pricing, and bee-removal requests.

Why does raw honey crystallize?+

Place your jar of honey in the windshield of your vehicle on a hot day, or leave it in a sunny window in your kitchen to naturally decrystallize. For storage, tasting, and gentle-warming tips, read the raw honey guide.

How does Pair & Save work?+

Get 10% off each honey-and-soap pair or each two-jar honey pair. Qualifying products are paired automatically, and the offers do not stack.

What should I do if I find a swarm?+

Give the bees space, keep children and pets away, and avoid spraying them. Send Mike a wide photo and a close-up using the assessment form.

Where do you ship?+

We currently ship to U.S. addresses. Every order includes a $5.95 handling fee, and the shipping rate and delivery estimate are shown before payment in Stripe Checkout. See our shipping policy for details.

Does this website take live orders or requests?+

Online product ordering is temporarily paused while labels and final packaging are completed. No product purchase can be completed yet. For bee-removal help, submit the online quote form with your details and photos so Mike can review the situation and respond.
